Salt House had built a strong reputation as one of Cairns’ favourite waterfront dining destinations, but their digital presence wasn’t keeping pace. Organic search traffic had plateaued, their social media had become inconsistent and uninspired, and they had no paid strategy to drive bookings during quieter periods. They were relying almost entirely on walk-ins and word of mouth — with no reliable way to fill seats online.
What we did about it
We started with a full SEO audit and rebuilt their on-page foundation from the ground up — optimising every key page for the search terms that actually drive covers. In parallel, we developed a content creation strategy that gave Salt House a consistent, craveable social presence — shooting on location and producing content that reflected the quality of the experience on the plate. We then layered Meta advertising on top, running targeted campaigns to warm and cold audiences to drive reservations and event bookings throughout the year.
